This cookie is inspired by my mom’s small-town famous Walnut Brownie Pie that was on the menu of her tea room ‘The Country Cottage’ in 1980’s Deer Park, TX. This tribute to my mom’s favorite pie features a velvety buttery & fudgy chocolate cookie base, swirling with gooey chocolate chips & freshly chopped walnuts in every bite.
